The work has finished. The Plan has been printed and is scheduled for release on Friday 10th. October 2008 at a Cheese & Wine event. See the Launch Event page for more details.

03/05/2008.

The results of the Questionnaires and the information gathered at the Update Event have been through many mills, and the Steering Group believe that they have now been interpreted correctly. The layout and format of the final document has been decided. The group are now working on the actions to be included in the Action Plan which will forwarded to the Parish Council for their information. The Plan will then be published and made available to all interested parties.

10/01/2008.

The Steering Group is now at the stage of discussing the results and interpreting what the results are telling them. That is, what the residents of Marham are saying about the future of the village. Each section of the Questionnaire answers is being dealt with seperatly and discussed in detail in able to as accurately as possible interpret the data.

12/11/2007.

The Update event took place on the 3rd. November and was well attended. Displays and presentations, including the took place and were well received by the visitors.

10/10/2007.

Most of the data has been input into the analysis program and preliminary results checked. When the analysis is completed the steering group will discuss the results and make decisions concerning the contents of the Final Document and also an Action Plan, so there is still some way to go!
Meantime, on Saturday 3rd. November there will be an Update event at 2 o'clock in the Village Hall, where progress can be viewed.

17/07/2007.

Thanks to the hard work of our team, collection of the Questionnaires is almost complete, and the even harder work of collating the replies and analysing the data can begin. We expect to take a couple of months over this part of the programme, but hope to be able to hold an 'OPEN DAY' later, when we can explain about the Plan and report our progress to all who are interested.

The Questionnaires are in the process of being delivered. Our schedule has slipped slightly, but we hope to complete the collection of the questionnaires before the 15th. July. Please help us to maintain the new schedule by having your questionnaire ready for collection within a few days of it's delivery.

The Questionnaires are in the process of being printed. Our schedule has slipped slightly, and if we were to deliver by the end of June then the collection could coincide with Marham's Fun Day on 14th. July, so there may be a further delay in delivering them.

The contents of the Questionnaire and it's presentation have been finalised. Once the printing is completed we shall be in a position to distribute them and a fortnight later collect the responses.

The Poster Campaign has started and so has the construction of the Questionnaire. Various groups in the village have stated their interests in the content of the Questionnaire, so it is hoped that it will meet the requirements of everyone.

In the near future, a poster campaign will be started in preparation for the launch of the forthcoming Questionnaire delivery.

Finance for the Plan has been agreed and will be provided by the Marham Parish Council and the Rural Projects Fund. A target date for the distribution of the Questionnaire has been set for mid-June, with the publication of the finalised plan set for the end of December 2007.
