Marham is a small village in Norfolk, approximately equidistant
from King's Lynn, Downham Market and Swaffham. Originally called
Cherry Marham because of the numerous fruit orchards in the area.
Unfortunately the orchards are now more arable land and Cherry
has been dropped from the name. It is also the home of RAF
Marham, one of the UK's front line defence bases which is
currently host to 4 Tornado squadrons.
